Center for Science, Mathematics and Computer Education

The Center for Science, Mathematics and Computer Education (CSMCE) at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln fosters education research in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields and supports efforts to improve the equitable teaching and learning in STEM in PK–16. With support from the Colleges of Arts and Sciences, Education and Human Sciences, and Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, the CSMCE works to build partnerships among leaders in the higher education and PK–12 education sectors that further our basic mission.
Champion & Heritage Trees Program
Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources
The Nebraska Champion Trees program, administered the Nebraska Forest Service, is designed to identify and recognize the largest living specimen of all native and the most common introduced tree species in Nebraska. Over 80 species are listed in the Nebraska Champion Tree Register. These tree aristocrats are truly natural landmarks.

The poultry group in the Department of Animal Science has natural chicken compost for sale. Sold in 15 lb. bags for $5/bag. Payments must be via check or cash. Sold from April to September.
Child Nutrition Training Academy

Children's Justice Attorney Education

Students participating in the Children’s Justice Clinic serve as guardians ad litem in the Lancaster County Juvenile Court under the supervision of the faculty instructor. Foundational training in the Children’s Justice Clinic focuses on courtroom skills, federal and state child welfare laws, the child welfare process, child development, and trauma in young children.

The Counseling and School Psychology Clinic (CSPC) is a training clinic housed within the Department of Educational Psychology at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Our mission is to offer supportive, affirming, and affordable psychological services to members of the local community and surrounding regions and provide professional clinical training for Counseling Psychology and School Psychology graduate students. The CSPC offers an array of psychological services to support the mental health, behavioral health, and emotional health of children, adolescents, and adults.

Available services include couples counseling, family therapy, pre-marital therapy, trauma-informed treatment, individual therapy, and discernment counseling.

Criminal Clinic
College of Law
The Nebraska Law Criminal Clinic is one of the few prosecution clinics in the country. Students spend the semester working at the local prosecutor’s office where they prosecute misdemeanor and low-grade felony cases – from initial charging decisions to ultimate case resolution – under the direct supervision of the faculty instructor.
