The Entrepreneurial Communities Activation Process (ECAP) program helps Nebraska communities grow their economy by tapping into their unique culture and past successes. ECAP empowers community members to lead the way in shaping their economic future. Prosperity isn’t instant; it’s a journey, and ECAP helps communities set action-based goals to get where they want to be.
Institute of Excellence for County Officials

Designed by Nebraska Extension, The NACO Institute of Excellence is a program of professional development for county officials. Participants will network with peers across the state as they grow leadership capacities in the roles they serve.
Native American Coalition
Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources
The UNL Tribal Extension Office sponsors the Native American Coalition (NAC) which builds relationships and partnerships between the Nebraska Extension and Native American communities and organizations. The work of NAC is to help build bridges between tribal and non-tribal communities, to facilitate community development and leadership in Native communities and to bring Native American traditional worldviews, languages, cultures and histories to the University of Nebraska and non-tribal communities.
Public Policy Center
The Public Policy Center is a university-wide, multidisciplinary research and outreach unit committed to addressing complex issues by linking academic research, stakeholder perspectives, and practical experience through innovative and creative solutions. Our mission is to link policy with research, process, and practice by working with researchers, policymakers, and stakeholders to actively inform public policy.
