Beekeeping Educational Offerings

The Great Plains Art Museum offers free tours for groups of all ages. Self-guided tours allow you to explore at your own pace, while guided tours highlight selected works or connect exhibitions to curricular objectives.

International Quilt Museum
Located at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, the museum is a world-renowned institution that showcases the rich and diverse history of quilting. Founded in 1997, it quickly became one of the world’s largest and most comprehensive collections of quilts and related textiles, boasting more than 9,000 quilts and over 2,500 quilt-related objects.

The Nebraska Watershed Aquifer Virtual Education System (WAVES) is devoted to Nebraskans who are engaged in water management, interested in how water moves through watersheds and aquifers, and who are looking for the latest water research stories.
Osher Life Long Learning Institute (OLLI)

The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) is a membership-based lifelong learning program for adults 50 years plus. OLLI offers non-credit courses, lectures, events and travel opportunities. There are no tests and no grades. OLLI is about the love of learning.

University of Nebraska State Museum Morrill Hall
College of Arts and Sciences
Established in 1871, the University of Nebraska State Museum is the state's premier museum of natural history. The mission of Museum is to discover and disseminate knowledge about the natural world through research and education. Visitors to Morrill Hall will find interactive exhibits featuring Nebraska’s past and present biological diversity, and its cultural heritage with a dedicated First Peoples of the Plains gallery. The four-level, 70,000 square foot museum is located on the University of Nebraska-Lincoln City Campus near the corner of 14th and Vine Streets in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Wetlands of Nebraska
The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission has partnered with Platte Basin Timelapse to develop wetlands resources that showcase the importance and dynamics of Nebraska’s wetlands and take an in-depth look at Nebraska’s regional wetland complexes.
