Couple and Family Clinic
College of Education and Human Sciences
The Couple and Family Clinic provides evidence-based treatment from therapists who are currently receiving specialized training and supervision in Marriage and Family Therapy. Available services include couples counseling, family therapy, pre-marital therapy, trauma- informed treatment, individual therapy, and discernment counseling.
Counseling and School Psychology Clinic

The Counseling and School Psychology Clinic (CSPC) is a training clinic housed within the Department of Educational Psychology at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Our mission is to offer supportive, affirming, and affordable psychological services to members of the local community and surrounding regions and provide professional clinical training for Counseling Psychology and School Psychology graduate students. The CSPC offers an array of psychological services to support the mental health, behavioral health, and emotional health of children, adolescents, and adults. Services are available for community members, as well as UNL students, staff, and faculty. All prospective clients are welcome regardless of age, ethnicity, sex, gender identity and expression, religion, sexual orientation, or physical or mental ability.

Farm to School Local Food Program

The Farm to School program connects kids with fresh, local food and healthy living in an engaging way. In the classroom, students learn about agriculture, nutrition, and the journey food takes from farm to table—including, in some cases, hands-on growing experiences. In the cafeteria, they get to taste the difference with meals made from fresh, locally-sourced ingredients, some of which they may have grown themselves. These hands-on experiences help children experience the benefits of eating fresh, local produce and make healthy eating a part of their everyday lives.

Hearing Aid Banks
College of Education and Human Sciences
HearU Nebraska provides hearing aids to children ages 0–18 with priority to newly identified children ages 0–3. Lions Hearing Aid Bank provides refurbished monaural or binaural BTE hearing aids to individuals 19–64 years of age. Sertoma Hearing Aid Bank provides one refurbished BTE hearing aid to individuals aged 65 or older. A second hearing aid can be purchased for $100.

Marathon Kids

Marathon Kids is a national running program designed to motivate kids by utilizing running logs, boost their activity, and introduce them to the joy of running! Nebraska Extension teamed up with Marathon Kids to bring this great program to our state through Nebraska Extension Marathon Kids (NEMK).
Master Gardener Volunteer Program

Minority Health Disparities Initiative

The Minority Health Disparities Initiative engages stakeholders to identify critical knowledge and service gaps in communities all over Nebraska. Our team works directly with communities and researchers to develop collaborative research teams and integrates the community at every step and within every aspect of the research process. Together we build innovative projects that address these identified gaps. Our mixed-methods approach combines social science quantitative research strategies with Community Based Participatory Research and facilitates community relationship building for health disparities researchers who seek to have a social impact on the communities that their research serves.

Nutrition School Enrichment Kits

The Nutrition School Enrichment Kit (SEK) Program brings nutrition education to Nebraska’s K-5 students through engaging lessons led by teachers. Each kit includes lesson plans, handouts, visual aids, games, and family newsletters, making it easy to integrate into the classroom.
Psychological Consultation Center

The Psychological Consultation Center doctoral students provide psychological services to individuals and families in Lincoln and surrounding communities. At the same time, the PCC is a teaching, training, and research center. Services are provided primarily by doctoral students and all services provided in the PCC are supervised by licensed clinical psychologists.

Tick Tag Go is a community-powered effort to establish baseline data on tick distributions in Nebraska. With new tick species being identified in the state, records of tick presence are critical to understanding which species are found where.This project relies on passive surveillance - the collection of ticks that you come across in your daily routine and activities.
