Psychological Consultation Center

The Psychological Consultation Center doctoral students provide psychological services to individuals and families in Lincoln and surrounding communities. At the same time, the PCC is a teaching, training, and research center. Services are provided primarily by doctoral students and all services provided in the PCC are supervised by licensed clinical psychologists.

The Nebraska Extension Early Childhood team has identified books to support children’s coping and understanding of their feelings after experiencing a major stressor, disaster, loss, and/or grief. Free storybook reading guides accompany the books. The guides provide adults with suggested activities and probing questions to help children personally connect with the experiences of the characters in the books.
