The Red Carpet Service program from Nebraska Extension blends traditional customer service with the specific needs of travelers and tourists in your area. This engaging and practical 2.5-hour session is designed for staff and management at local attractions, convenience stores, restaurants, retail shops, lodging venues, and any business that interacts with visitors. Participants learn about the economic benefits of tourism and their crucial role in creating a positive, welcoming first impression for all community members.

The Nebraska Center on Reflective Practice (NCRP) is part of the UNL-Center for Children, Families, and the Law. This training will help professionals enhance their capacity to respond to others and communicate based on developmental principles and personal reflection. 

Student Life at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) has indoor and outdoor event spaces across campus and partners with groups to host over 20,000 events annually. This includes Nebraska Unions, University Housing, Campus Recreation, and outdoor spaces (non-athletic). Spaces are available to rent for non-University groups.

SANDY is the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's research data repository created to advance world-changing resource agendas. This system provides researchers with statistics of views, downloads, and clicks on their data sets, and provides persistent identifiers so data can be cited and shared easily. The goal of SANDY is to advance the impact of Nebraska research through a sophisticated platform for sharing and accessing Nebraska-generated research data. 

Located at Nebraska Innovation Campus, the 154-room Marriott Tribute hotel is home to The Good Life Coffee Shop; the Well & Good, the hotel’s signature restaurant; and the Barred Owl, the rooftop bar with incredible views of Lincoln. The hotel’s restaurant, bar, and coffee shop are open to the public and feature Nebraska-inspired cuisine and drinks. 

The University of Nebraska School of Computing’s Senior Design runs a capstone program for junior and senior students majoring in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and Software Engineering. This program provides students with real-life experience and prepares them for an industry career.   

Environmental education (EE) seeks to inform and inspire people about nature and environmental issues. EE occurs in both formal education or classrooms and non-formal education such as after school programs, events, nature centers and museums. 

We are looking for community partners who can navigate students toward an interactive experience that could include service learning, research, participation, or other activities for this course where student teams are required to select an issue they care about, develop a research poster, and to engage in 4-6 hours of experiential learning related to the issue. There are 600 students who take the class, and the course runs in both spring and fall semesters.
