Biotech Connector

Located on Nebraska Innovation Campus, the Biotech Connector provides Nebraska with its first wet lab incubator. The BTC provides a critical link and previously missing infrastructure required to facilitate the development and growth of early-stage biotech companies. The Biotech Connector represents an important opportunity to serve the economic needs of the people of Nebraska through further diversification of Nebraska's economy, and by helping forge and illuminate a pathway to jobs in the biotechnology space for Nebraska students.

Block Party Program

Block Party is a play-based learning experience that helps children develop essential skills like math, science, social skills, and problem-solving through block play. Specific for Childcare Providers: Nebraska Extension also offers Block Party training for childcare providers. This training provides information on the benefits of block play and how to incorporate it into daily activities.

Bull Sales
Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources
The University of Nebraska Bull Sale is sponsored by the Beef Cattle Merchandising class taught each spring in the Animal Science Department. Students in this class get hands-on experience in advertising, catalog preparation, data collection, and the management of a seedstock bull sale. The 220 cow NU Beef Teaching herd located on the Eastern Nebraska Research and Extension Center (ENREC), near Mead, Nebraska, supplies the bulls and data for the class.
Buoy Agency for Nonprofits
College of Journalism and Mass Communications
Buoy is a student-run agency within the Experience Lab that serves nonprofits and other purpose-driven organizations. With guidance from a faculty liaison and professionals in residence, students build core skills in advertising and public relations while exploring professional interests. (Note: Buoy is a learning lab for students largely in their first or second year of studies at UNL. Buoy students are far less experienced than the student selected through a competitive process to work for Jacht.)
