Thank you to those who participated in the MLK Reading Challenge, an event in collaboration with Prosper Lincoln and Read Aloud Lincoln to honor the legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr. Volunteers read to children at 30 childcare centers in Lincoln.

The Glow Big Red Challenge on Feb. 14 is a day to celebrate Nebraska while giving back. Show your appreciation to service members, veterans and their families when you write a note of encouragement to a child with military or veteran parents. Children will receive a flat Herbie so they too can display Nebraska pride!

Notes will be available in the Nebraska Union from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. and the Nebraska East Union from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
