Students must take 12 credit hours to satisfy the course requirement for the certificate. At least 9 of the 12 credit hours must be taken at the 300 or 400 level.
ACE 8 (ethics, civics, stewardship outcome) and ACE 9 (global, diversity issue) outcomes count as two of the four required courses for the Civic Engagement Certificate as long as one of the courses is at the 300 or 400 level.
