The Experiential Learning Tab (ELT) is a feature on Career Service's Husker Hire Link and serves as an e-portfolio tool to assist students in documenting their civic-related and or community service-learning experiences. Students record their hours and reflect on their civic-related and/or community service-learning experiences with their respective organizations. In addition to having students record their hours, part of the process consists of the community partners validating the hours and experiences of the students working in their organization. Additionally, the ELT serves as the official transcript of documenting community service-learning hours.
Husker Hire Link is an on-line connection between UNL students, alumni and employers for jobs and internships. It combines the power and expertise of two professional associations, the National Association of Colleges and Employers and DirectEmployers, with Symplicity (a software technology company specializing in solutions). The Experiential Learning Tab also serves as a contract between faculty (if students are taking a service-learning course), student, and the non-profit organization partner.
To enter your civic-related and/or community service-learning experiences go to Career Services.
