Community Challenges

Community Challenge is a program that provides co-curricular service-learning experiences for students. Community Challenges are one-time service-learning opportunities that are organized for students in conjunction with local organizations. The community service-learning experiences range from 2 to 4 hours in length and are offered at a variety of times throughout the semester. Students sign up for an event that fits into their schedule. Past Community Challenges have included:

  • 9/11 National Day of Service
  • Dare to Care (food drive for the Food Bank of Lincoln in November)
  • MLK Day of Service
  • Red Card/Green Card
